I am getting an new exhaust for my 79 F-250. The last system fell victim to cancer. What can be put on exhaust that will withstand the heat and keep the rust away? Is there anykind of high-temp auto paint that can be used?
You can get aluminized piping that will last longer, and I painted mine with 1200 degree paint, theres a tech article i wrote about my install (link on the right) or pictures in my gallery. Autozone or anywhere with spraypaint has high-temp stuff.
