Need help going straight FAST!!

Hi.
On my 89 BII 2.9L I've got one bad cat that I know of and problems that scream exhaust malfunction. I am going out now to get the whole system cut off, am going to try cutting the bolts off first and hopefully able to pull the whole system out. Guess I will find out when I get it apart if it will even run that way. Biggest problem is where the 2 pipes come together in front of 1st cat. Its like a 4 or 5 inch kinda triangular shaped flange thing that noone seems to have a replacement part for. I have gone to several of the local muffler shops and they do not have or will not admit having any kind of adapter for this. I know there are alot of people on here who have done this, Please share your wisdom, how am I going to connect this all back up?? Well lots to do and losing daylight. Please help.

Oops, missed one. I try to post results. Luckily, my husband didn't put the exhaust on really well so it fell off on its own. Got in there and gutted that sucker, piece of rebar and a 3lb hammer, used the shop vac to pull out as much as I could, the plyers to pull out the screen, pound, vac, pound, vac..... then ran it for 3 very loud days with nothing hooked up. Then I put the whole thing back together and used liquid steel to hold the whole thing together. Found a problem for later. Appears that my husband broke the manifold mating flange. Guess he doesn't know his own strength.
