Dynomax System for 01 Supercrew
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 08-Oct-02 AT 09:33 PM (EST)]OK, my first post. I am looking for an exaust system for my 01 Supercrew, Its a Lariat 4x4 with the 5.4. I have looked into flowmasters kit, one from Borla, and searched here and found that some liked the Dynomax. I dont want anything to loud, just a deep sound with improved flow, I want to know I put something there though. I dont mind a little interior noise, but I dont want it to be annoying on trips. Any recommendations? I know this is a broad question. Id rather not spend the $$ on something I may not like or something thats not worth it. I saw where someone actually lost power with a Gibson

They have a dual, out the side, in front of the tire cat back exhaust set up.
You can opt for a queiter muffler than the Pro Street muffler they come with.
Do a search for "Ford F150 forums" and check each ones exhaust section. A couple of sites have some sound files posted.

Dynomax System for 01 Supercrew
I have a dynomax superturbo series muffler on my 85 250. Not very loud, just a touch over stock. But it increased my performance and gas mileage. I haven't done exact numbers and tests, but now when I get that old dog into 4th gear, its got some serious pull and ***** to it, a major improvement over the old exhaust. Through 2nd and third gear the feel isn't as noticeable, but in 4th that sucker will get up and go now. I'm pleased with mine
