f100 lowering

hey guys i have an 82 f100 2wd and was thinking about lowering it just a little ...im not wanting a dragger ... just enough to help the handling but this is my first ford and everything is completely different from the chevys im used to can anyone shed some light on this for me just need to know what is needed to lower it and what i can do with the stock suspension to help the process

I think you can only get 2", maybe less in the front before your alignment is impossible to correct. 2" drop shackles are available and easy to install in the rear. If you do a search for lowering questions, you should find plenty of options.

2" would be great the truck is pretty level the way it sits so 2 in front and 2 in rear would work i just got a little lost when i saw the axle on the wrong side of the springs..haha

i installed drop shackles on my truck. they evened out the truck pretty nice
