help truck dead
truck wouldn't start no fuel pressure so put on new pump truck runs ok for all most full day then quites changed fillter and rechecked pressure only have 20psi now I can start it but pressure starts to fall to 0 at which point it stalles. Could the problem be the pressure regulator or ?

With the beginnings being a bad pump, I'd check out the fuel pump relay. It might have been the reason for the pump going bad in the first place. Resistance in the relay contacts means less voltage going to the motor. Less voltage, more heat in the pump, it burns up it's brushes and it's gone.
