1996 Explorer XLT Throttle Position Sensor
How can I tell if I need to change the sensor? After my car runs about ten minutes, it has idles very run, idles up and down. But when I am driving and maintaining a constant speed, everything is ok. Sometimes, when i take my foot off the gas, the rpms drop so low that it nearly stalls out. I can watch the voltmeter sway up and down when it idles rough. If I "goose" it, it will stabilize for a bit and go back to its "loping" ways.
