That's not a bad price, but don't run the EGT's too hot or you'll burn up the DP. The problem is the with any Aluminized steel exhaust, that it will burn up or rust out. They'll last about 3-5 years depending on where you live and how hard you drive the truck.
I have the 304 stainless steel MBRP with the lifetime warranty. Sure I paid more for it, but I don't have to worry about the high Egt's or rusting. It's been great, lower EGT and with a sweet exhaust tone.
I've talked with some people on here that you really only need a 4" exhaust system. When you reach about 500hp is where you'll need the 5" for extra flow. If you put a 5" exhaust on a truck with just a tuner on, usually your HP and TQ numbers will be lower than with the 4" exhaust.
The 3.5" downpipe was hard enough to get in I'd hate to imagine what it would be like to get a 4" up there. It also doesn't include the pipe for the cat so you'll have to retain the cat and make something to mount it up to the 5" or weld up a delete pipe.
Also remember you get what you pay for. That muffler doesn't look very quality. Neither does the "aluminized" steel. I have had my MBRP for over 5 years and theres not a spot of rust on it.
I looked at this kit when I was shopping. Ive used summit branded stuff before and its been great. The 3.5'' DP was no problem getting in, I dont see 4'' being that hard. I ended up going with the MBRP in just mild steel, just because thats what seems to be the most commonly used by people on this sight. I live in the south, so no snow, no road salt etc. Just put a good coat of high temp semi-gloss black on it and looks as good today as the day I installed/painted it.
