high rpm start
I have noticed in the mornings when I first start my ST it shoots up to a high rpm (around 2800-3000). That cant be good for the engine (4.0). Anyone have any ideas?

dirty MAP, or air cleaner plugged up, or some other reason for the intake to be starved for air... 2500 rpms can be normal at first start up, if it's really cold out - as it would be a run rich condition, but if it doesn't settle down in a couple of minutes or so, and runs like that for a while, my guess is an air intake problem somewhere...
