I6 Split Exhaust
Hey guys...you have all been great sources of info and I have another question for you. I am in the process of rebuilding my 83 I6 300 (carb'd) and want to install the EFI split exhaust manifolds through a dual in/out cat and then true duals straight back (no mufflers). I have been searching E-bay and junkyards for a while now and cannot find the spilt exhaust manifolds anywhere ? Are they that much in demand that everyone sucks them up ? If anyone knows someone with a set they want to get rid of or where I might be able to buy some on-line...please help !

The split EFI's are really the only way to make an I6 sound REALLY good. If many other people know this i imagine they do get sucked up, why don't you snoop around the local junkyard, you never know, you might get lucky.

humm father-in-law has a set sittin in his barn, but thinks he might need them someday..... his 6cyl is shot, and his new truck has a 302... who know's there should be lots old trucks junked with them
