351w rebuild

I am trying to round up all the parts needed to rebuild an 85, 351w.Have most of them But, when I checked on arp head bolts I found both bolts and studs for sale. Don't know which to use. help please

Studs result in more consistent gasket pressure. Bolts are being twisted as they are being torqued, which can affect their stretched length. Studs have the torque applied on the same end as the friction from the threads, so you get more accurate stretch without the twisting action.

If you are building a high performance engine by all means go with the studs but if you are building stock or mild the bolts will work perfect. One thing to keep in mind if you ever need to pull a head in the future in some chassis head studs will make it a real PITA.
