Puddle lanp stays on
Hello,
We have a 2002 Taurus 24 valve SES. Recently the overhead dome lamp and the mirror puddle lamps have been staying on much longer than normal. With my F350 I was able to spray WD-40 into the latch to loosen the switch. ( which allowed those lights to go out ) Would this be the fix for the Taurus as well?

How long are they staying on?
My wife's Escort always had about a 1-minute delay.
My Ranger had that door ajar idiot light trouble. Slammng the door shut did nothing. I hit the driver's door latch internals with some lubricant and all was well.
