In my experience, all transmission cooling lines are steel; this is to avoid the ensuing fire
that occurs when a dry-rotted rubber hose blows and tranny fluid starts gushin' all over the
exhaust. If you've got rubber hose, I'll bet a PO put it into place, it didn't come from the
factory that way.
