hey!, everybody new to site and fords no offense but im a chevy guy but came across a 1976 f250 ranger xlt "highboy" it has a fairly fresh 390 with 429 heads was a 4spd but now has fresh c6. the bod is rough "midwest truck" heres my questions a. what is the differense between regular 3/4 ton and high boys. was it just a suspension lift or body or both this one sits about 2-3 inchs off frame is that "factory" like i was told. What was the factory tire size for these trucks? It came with new 235 85 16 s they seem rather small it has headers dual exhaust roll bar white spokes. I got it with the new tires for around $1500 is that a fair price. The only consern i have is that there is a lot of play in the front end is that normal if not what is possible problems? tie rods? ball joints? steering box? and are the parts different then normal f250s thanks
