electrical system

I want to put fog lights on my truck but even just running the AC and the headlights drains my battery while idling. I know when you start it up, that the battery indicator should go down, but it should also go back up. Both the alternator and the battery has been replaced over the years, and i've talked to specialists who hook it up to their special machines, even they cant tell me there is a problem.

does or has anyone else had this problem?

Hey Kez,have not seen u on the site lately. I have not had any problem with running extra lights on my truck. My brother is a ford mechcanic,i will ask him if he knows what your problem could be.

You need to check your cables and clean all connections and replace if necessary. Make sure everything is tight. It also sound like you may have a bad alterantor.
