Changed Injector now no temp

Was finaly able to get to changing out my injector. after putting it all together and firing her up I took her for a test drive. The temp gauge never moved . Trans temp did and heat blew from heater. Had to put 2 gallons fluid after puting her back together, I checked what I thought was the temp sensor on front, top driver side of engine, plug is tight. SOmehting else I am missing?

The ect is on the front driver side of the engine, follow the big hose on that side towards the water pump and it is at the base of the hose. It is probably damaged or wires might be damaged. The two wires run straight to the ecm so if you can scan it and see if the computer is seeing any temp. If not it is 99% that there is something wrong with the sender or the two wires that go to it. If the computer is seeing temp you must of lost the gauge, but that is much less likely. Regardless, it is something you need fixed because it will effect how it operates and could cause some probs.

I think the PCM will set a code after 30 minutes of driving if it does not see a increase in temp.
