glasspack question...
how long does it take for a thrush glasspack to "break in", i have had it for about 4 months and it has gotten a little louder. i was wondering if it has broke in yet and if it will get any louder. ranger 4.0, and i have not put a hose up my tailpipe yet to break it in yet.

My glasspacks I had on before the flows took about 1 year to blow completely out. They were getting pretty loud by 8 months. If you really want it loud take it off and dump a 50/50 mix of gas and diesel in it and burn it out.

My old exhaust was hillbilly.
I ran Headers and got twin 12" Glasspacks from J.C. Whitney and welded 2.5 inch headers flanges on them and turndowns at the end. They exited directly under the cab and it was insanly loud when you got on it. That had to go so now I run true duals with 40 Flows. Much more mello the way I like it.

glasspack question...
to break the glasspacks in let the truck idle for about 15 min then get the waterhose and wet them. it will sound like something shattering and the truck will get loud as butt.
