No. Whats wrong with the head you have? Only problem I know of is the plug blowout from the early years, but that was fixed. If anything, get a newer head and put it on.

yeah i suspect the water jackets and basicly everything wouldnt lineup...

i'd be surprized if a single bolt hole would lineup.

Not to mention the cams. Where are you going to put them, the glove box? I checked, they won't fit in there.

Maybe 351 Cleveland heads would fit! If memory serves me they were way better. If they do let me know cause I don't like my 5.4 heads either.

It's just too easy.

OK, yes, the 351W heads will fit, but only if your truck came with the heated hub option. Since the 351W has an internal camshaft and the 5.4L has overhead cams the heated hubs will assist you into converting your V-8 into a reed valve 2 stroke engine. A competant machine shop can cut the intake and ports for you.

Also, you will a piston return spring into each cylinder to compensate for the lack of gray matter. They are available here: http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...products_id=27

Oh a Kuhneutson Valve would also help with low end torque. http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...&products_id=9
