its possible. wait for a COLD morning, when you go start the truck and fire off the glow plugs, the injectors will buzz the entire time the glow plug light is on. when the light goes off, the buzz goes off.
When temps where down in the 30's and I started the truck (after the glowplugs cycled twice the recommended time) it would be choppy for the first second or so and clear right up. What I do is let it idle for 30 or so seconds before driving off. After the choppyness clears up, you can faintly hear and feel some fluctation in the idle though.
Normal per say or be expected given the condition?
I'll check for the buzz too. I think the only thing I have been hearing is the vacuum pump
Thats the answer I have been looking for. So the injectors will buzz with the Inductive Heating Flash. Mine have stopped buzzing when cycled. Its in the shop now and needs 1 injector...so maybe the FICM is at fault also.
