My 56 panel has been a storage unit since before the new shop was built. It is crammed to the roof with 56 parts. I threw a battery in it today and she fired right up, first time in a year and a half. I have to clean it out as a guy from SO Cal wants pics of it, so the next nice day(whenever that is) I'm going to get it out, drive it over to my friends shop and put it on the hoist to get underside pics. MY wife and kids were mad when I gave the guy a price,(they dont want me to sell it) hopefully hes not another tire kicker!Kevin Bigwin
I love it....LMAO....did you explain the trucks paint that was flaking off--was worth more money.......maybe 995.00.....haha!!
No power steering is ''the thing'' today!!! sorry you still have it!
I sent him over 30 pictures, Yes he knows the condition. I'll just keep it, its paid for and not everyone can have one. Its one of 14,023 made in 56, so how many are left today in that condition? No RUST EVER! You want to buy a 55 panel priced right? (before I cut it up for parts) One of 11,198 made in 1955 so its MORE RARE than a 56.
I found a 56 panel truck-all original in the south on my trip up home and it is for 3500.00 With a paint job and some tlc....will be a top notch 56 panel truck.

Sounds like its just what you wanted. Now we can cruise our panels at the same time. I think I'm going to cruise mine to the supernats this year, if I still have it by then.
I think the price is still too high--so I gave him a price of 2000 bucks. I will stop and look at it again in a few weeks. I will have a panel truck.....and there is a 56 chevy panel truck that a buddy wants me to buy. I really don't want a chevy panel...but they are cool too,and it is original and in nice shape.
Thanks /Bill
