Soiled Eng Compartment

I own a 98 F150 ExtCab 4x4. The problem Im having is the front tires are throwing off spray into the engine compartment on both the left and right sides. On the lft side it is worse than the right side. The local ford dealer said that all of the trucks do this. He said that he would order in another fender tub and see what happens. Anyone had this problem besides me. He said Im the first person to complain about this. I find this hard to believe if all 98s are the same. Any help or advice would be welcome. Buzz44

I have a 2 wheel drive 98 F-150 and I've notice the same problem. It appears to me that their is a lack of rubber flashing/molding hanging from the fenders. I've notice on other trucks the flashing is more extensive and is fasten securely unlike on Fords where the flashing is allowed to move.
