I need a y pipe

I need a y pipe for a 78/79 bronco with a 351m 400 or off a 77-9 f series truck will work too.I would like an older one and not have to trailer my rig to the exhaust place to have one made. thank you in advance, Jason

The problem with a Y pipe is the crummy hole they put in the "straight" pipe
before welding on the "branch" pipe.

Do yourself a big favor and cut into that dangged Y pipe and take a look at it.

I welded mine up using coat hanger about ten years ago and that picture is
recent.

It felt like it added about 2 cylinders to my clunky old 360FE! :)
It'll do more for yours? :)

I changed mine from a "y" shape to a "Y" shape, it now looks like a header's
collector inside. That is one of my favorite modifications. :)

IMO when a guy brags on how his new headers helped the power situation, I
don't doubt it a bit but also figure many times, having gotten rid of the sorry
restrictive Y pipe, was part of the new boost.
