thinking bout selling
So, you guys. Im thinking bout selling my truck. I love this thing to death. I would die a little to see someone else driving it but i have found another truck i want. Its a 92 F-150 Flareside w/ a 351 Windsor. Only 77,xxx miles on it. Doesnt burn oil or leak. Its burgandy. It is being sold cheap for 1,500. Its less than a mile away from my house. The guy is selling it cuz its his late father in law's. when his father in law passed away his wife forced him to decide to sell it because the memories.
The reason im thinking of getting a newer truck is the cost of fixing the stuff on my truck. Its not that much but its adding up quick. My girlfriend of a year and half has been bugging me bout it. Were thinking of moving in together during the summer. and the cost of gas and upkeep would break us.
So you guys i was wondering about what yall think my truck is worth.
It has a 302 w/ 55,xxx miles on it. It does leak about a quart of oil a month due to the oil pan gasket leaking. Runs very strong. The rest of the truck only has 93,xxx miles on it. C6 tranny. True Dual exhaust with cherry bomb glasspacks. And for a look over here is a video. I wanna hear some opinions about it. YouTube - '82 Ford F100

yeh i understand. im goin to put it up for sell on the classifieds and craigslist after i get home from school. Ill be listing it for 2500. so i have some room to negotiate. you'd really have to drive it to see why its really worth that.

well went and looked at that flareside this afternoon. The drivers side door is blue. and the passenger side window is busted out. Simple fixes. new drivers side door and new glass. but other than that the body is straight. the interior is in good shape. hes wanting 1500 but im gonna try to talk him down to 1300 or 1400 so i can get new door and glass. didnt get to see under the hood since noone was home. didnt get to crawl under the truck cuz its pooring rain here. we are under flash flood warning. but all in all idk. id have to see how it drives and etc.

well update on this. my F100 is about to no longer be mine. Yesterday i put it up on craigslist. Got 2 offers of 2500 today. I agreed to sell her to one of the guys. Hes sending the check earlier today by fedex. Also this afternoon went look real indepth at the 92 Flareside. i already love this truck. i will be buying it once i get the check for the F100. It has 72,000 miles on the 351 windsor. paints in great shape except the drivers side door. easy fix though.

i know i cant believe it either neither can my dad. shoot put it on craigslist. thats the only reason mine sold. Im so excited about the flareside. ill post some pics when i get it sometime this week.

I haven't put it on craigslist yet because my friends mom wants it. But If I can get more then $2000 for it ill put it on craigslist.
