I think I may have accidentally stepped on somebody s foot by asking my question on another thread.
So Ive made my own thread. Ill ask here.
I dont think that a master rebuild kit will cost much. But... I want a lil bit more performance out of my F.I. 4.9. I want to spend in the neighbor hood of $1000 - $1500 is this posible? What the truck would be used for is hauling things on the deck, towing my BII to the local mudpit, posibly mud bogging, and genreal trail blazing on the FSR's. Any new ideas that I havent heard yet?? Let me know guys.
A few things that Ive heard already are.
a) An R.V. cam. But from what Ive heard from otgher people is that you cant just walk into an auto parts store and ask fgor a R.V. cam. You have to know the duration so.. Whats a good duration to go with.
b) Install a header. Who makes the best one for my truck??
Theres what Ive heard so far... So..... Like I say let me know your ideas.
Thanks
Go to COMPCAMS website, they have rabches for you to look at and compare to what you are looking for. I think it also tells what combo's you would need with what cam you are looking for. Thats how I came up with the info on my cam for my Chevy that I had built
