AC/Heater Issues
I have been having intermitent issues with my AC/ Heater. 2005 6.0L. My problem is occaisonally the display on the console fails to come on, when this happens I of course get no heat or A/C. Not the fuses, it comes and then goes. I brought it to the dealer this summer when it did it and of course when they started it it came on. It did it again this morning. Heat worked when I came into work. Went to lunch and it didn't work. Ran an errand this afternoon and it is working. I'm thinking a short somewhere but I am not really electrically inclined and this is just a guess on my part. Has anyone had this issue, any ideas?

Yes. My truck does it about every other month or so. At first took it to Ford but it made a liar out of me and would not do it at the dealer. Although they knew what I was talking about they could not fix it unless it was broken.
Someone on here posted about the same problem. If you turn your headlights on to auto then on the ac/heat will start working again. I have absolutely no idea how or why it works but it does. Hope it works for you too.
