E150 Leaking Coolant
I have a 1995 E150 with the 5.8L 351, and it was leaking antifreeze and not staying at a consistent temperature, so I replaced the water pump, thermostat, and all hoses associated with those parts. I did notice a crack in the aluminum plate that the water pump bolts to, but after the pump was replaced, I checked the oil, and it was clean.The van ran parfectly for a couple of weeks, but last nght it started spewing antifreeze after I turned it off. Does anybody have any idea what this could be, because I'm stumped?By the way, the temperature guage was staying consistent, the heat was blowing hot, and there was really no sign of malfunction until I got out and shut it off.I appreciate any help.
