So I attacked my drivers side today. With help from my mechanically inclined friend Dwayne. He has the tools and know how to do this. Minus a lift and a press. But we got it done anyways. The ball joints were BAD and the bearing was even worse!
The only two hang ups were:
1. Hub didn't want to slide off after removing the retainer clip.
2. Trying to press the new ball joints in while sitting in dirt with a beat up ball joint press and a 10 y/o air gun.
Two things to remember when doing this:
1. Make sure you got the right parts before taking everything apart
2. When you buddy oils his air gun and covers his face in soot because he didn't think to hold point the exhaust downward, Try not to laugh too hard!
