Map light switch

I have a 2000 Ex with a map light switch that quit working. The switch is spring loaded and now there is no 'spring' to shut it off. I took the bulb out but before I begin to dismantle the overhead console, I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this.

This happen to my 01 not to long ago and have not looked at it yet. I thought it was one of those Ford issues on being old and used to many times. If anybody has any info on a part # let us know! I really like FTE, Sometime I think these small problems only happen to me until I read that some one else has the same problems. Thanks to all for all the info.

I took my overhead apart and it was a bear getting the switch back together. everytime I tried, the little piece of metal inside would shift and I'd have to start over. I eventually got it.
