removing ifs front?

Hey yall im starting an sas on my 97 and was just wondering if theres an easy way to remove the whole front ifs suspension set up without taking it all apart piece by piece, let me know the easiest way to get the whole thing outta there, thanks!

I dropped the lower A frames with the torsion bars still in them - couldn't get the suckers out for nothing. So, it isn't mandatory to remove them. If you loosen up the keys from the rear cross-member they should come out. That's all I know.

lol no, i was thinkin about that just doing it the easy way and cutting everything off, i figure theres gotta be someone who can use the parts for something though, and some of the stuff ill be saving so i dont wanna cut it up too much, im thinkin just get the drive shaft outta the way, remove the torsion bars (any help on removing those? have no idea about this ifs stuff) and then just start unbolting the stuff from the top and hope it falls out haha

WE had to use an air hammer and rattle the crap out of the back end of the torsion bars to get the keys to come loose. Even after taking out the a frames and using a 20 pound sledge and old axle, I couldn't get the fronts to come loose. Best of luck on that one.

hm, ill get them out somehow, i can use them for something i know that, could make a good trac bar or something or maybe some links? or im bulding a little buggy/cart ill 4 link it haha
