95 f-350 E4OD problems
i have been fighting this problem of burning up trannys so i put a 40,000 GVW cooler up front but it won't shift right, bogs down and serges under hard acceleration. the stock tires were 235/85r16 i put 315/75r16 under it with no lift it is running 3.55 gears would a set of 4.10 or 4.11 be my answer, how do i know what axles are under it?

First off, did you correct your speedo for the new size of tire? If you didn't, your tranny is getting bad info for shift points.

Also, have you checked for any trouble codes? Fordfuelinjection.com has a good explanation of the procedure for reading them with a simple wire jumper (like a paper clip) under "How to Run a Self-test".
It also helps if we know more of the particulars of your vehicle (you didn't mention which engine you have).

the engine is a 460 i bought the jet accu-speed to set the speedo but all it did was set off the (ABS) light and kill the speedo jet said it was defective and to send it back but i have to pay shiping. the truck was a power house but i now will not spin the tires in four high, so gears would help i think or back to stock tires but then it looks like a g-pa rig so bad i would need a handi cap sticker! thanks for you links. what do you think about a 5-speed?
