My T/C seems to be locked up at all times I was woundering if there was a way to un plug it or cut a wire I know this is not the rite way to do it but it is now more of a toy then a daily driver. Thanks for any help you might give!
Are you saying it is locked in 4wd all the time? Seems to me cutting a wire would just keep it there. How about some more info on the truck and the actual problem?
Its a 2000 f-150 with 150,000 miles on it 4x4 the t/c stays locked up when I come to a stop now and the truck wants to stahl it happened after a night of playing in snow drifts and pulling peolpe out of the ditch.

The TC has nothing to do with the selection of 4WD.
Check your fluid level first. Low level can cause this.
Then, if the level was correct, get it scanned to see if the computer sees any electrical fault. If none is present, you likely have an internal failure in the hydraulics.

How do you know that the T/C isnt unlocking? Are you sure it just doesnt want to idle while stopped? These trucks are notorious for the Idle Controller going bad, which will cause it to stall out when stopped.
