Lost Overdrive!

I have a 2004 f-140 4.6 with edge box on level 2 and 4th gear just stopped working. Everything had been working fine i watched my temp and in shifted well. Then i go to drive it and it shifts 1-2-3 and then just revs. Any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else?

my 06 did the same thing..it turned out to be the overdrive servo and wiring harness. Luckily mine was fixed under warranty.

I reset my edge back to stock from level 2 and it drove fine then i returned it to level 2 again and everything seems good. I did just update it about a week ago i dont know if there is a problem with the updated probram. My trans temp is usually in the 150 range this time of year it just seems a little hotter than it should considering how cold it can be out. I dont know any info is appreciated. Thanks

I just got my edge recently and I run the level 1 tune. My truck is also an 04 with the 4.6 and its an XL model. I like the way it shifts now and the throttle lag is gone and the truck just woke up. I like the fact I have a tach now, and I can see my coolant and tranmission temp also. My trans temp runs around 130-140 and its in the 40s-50s here in Vegas. I do service my truck by the book and it has had the coolant, trans and oil changes regularly. Have you serviced your trans fluid?

Yes i had my trans fluid changed about 15000 miles ago maybe i should do it again. I thought of adding a bigger trans cooler maybe that would help. Just seems a little hot unloaded at highway speeds 70-80mph
