Now I have a question I was driving with a friend of mine when we saw a 1976 extra cab f150 truck with a vinyl top and he said " vinyl tops on ford trucks meant there was a defect from the factory on the roof of the cab". does anyone know if this true or not? or have any ideas, or if Ford ever made any trucks with vinyl tops for that matter because I have only seen one with a vinyl top.
