5.4 L engine tapping

My 97 Expedition 5.4L w/171,000 miles engine is tapping. This started in the past 350-400 miles. And right after I had the oil changed. It it sounds like it is coming from the top of the engine and is doing it on both sides. How do I make it stop?

Use the proper 5w20 ... if that doesn't work out lucas is your next bet

Must use only a Motorcraft oil filter.

I only use 5w30 Motorcraft oil and Motorcraft oil filter (FL820S). Make sure the proper amount was put in. I know mine calls for 6 qts of oil.

Is it tapping or does it sound like sewing machine? Could possibly just have a loose rocker.

thanks guys. Changed the oil, used 5w30 oil and a motorcraft filter and it is running fine.
