Finally

Finally got my turbo and pedastal back on.Whew!!What a pain.Fired her up tonight with just the down pipe on.Looked good to me,but it was dark and about 9 degrees. I'm gonna put the exhaust on in the a.m and take her for a spin to see for sure. If it's fixed I'm defenitely gonna switch to synthetic oil when I change it. I went to top the truck off tonight with oil that was in the back of the truck and it was like molasses. Hopefully synthetic will help with the cold starts as well.Sorry for the long post, just happy to have her back together.

It's nice to hear good news, when people get things fixed and how they did it. Thats what helps others learn.

Well I got it all back together only to find out that the pedastal was leaking from the area that I had welded up.Soooo I took it all back apart(getting good at it at this point) Took the pedastal back to my welder, watched him fix it and pressure tested it while it was there. I got it all back together and she's nice and leak free.Except for the upipe gaskets.I've saved that for another thread. No oil leak though.LOL Could'nt have done it without FTE!! Thanks to everyone.
