were can I find

Were can I find the metal/rubber gasket/dust shield that goes between the starter and the bellhousing? 1954 V8, I am comming up empty. thanks for any help.

try npd or dennis carpenter . my 53 with a flatty has an oddball one year only gasket that goes on the dust sheild and they both had it .

The part number is not a 6335 but is a 6436, I will check Dennis Carpenter and NPD. Thanks

You just gotta know where to look. Having the Ford part number is a BIG plus.

Having the Ford parts catalog is even a bigger plus.

B4A6436A .. Seal Assembly. Starter to Flywheel Housing.

Fits: 1954/55 239/256 / 1956 272 / 1956 302/332.

Green Sales in Cincinnati OH has ONE = 800-543-4959

Miller Obsolete in Binghamton NY has THREE = 800-546-7278

Lincoln Old Ford Parts Store in Clearwater FL has TWO = 727-445-1091

Dennis Carpenter in Concord NC has SIX = 704-786-8139

These are prolly originals, as DC has the second largest stock of Ford NOS on the planet.

Green Sales has the largest stock.
