I know this is a 302, 154hp, Kansas City, Mo. May of 1979 Truck with a c6. What other than the obvious does this tag say about the truck? What are the numbers in the box at the bottom right noted with an * mean???

Those other numbers I am unsure of. The line at the bottom should have codes under it. Check the door itself for a warranty plate, it should have the needed info. Then post it on here and we can get you more info.

 

Look at your warranty plate, looks like this

that'll give more info. Its on the other part of the door frame

Thanks for your help, but my waranty tag is MIA. Unless someone has another way I guess I am S.O.L. But I am still happy for the deal I got no matter. Ol' Jed is running good now. Just leaking a little oil. Time for trouble shooting.
