Just the motor and wiring, Im going to do it, My motor has bad head gaskets on it and im always having to nickel and dime it so I figured the 06 had less issues with it correct me if im wrong.

I think a lot of the issues were due to the techs not really knowing what they were doing. I'm not sure about all sensors but I know that the ICP sensor will be in a different location on the 06 then on the 03. If swap all of your computer hardware over to the new motor you'd think it would work.

i second rollerstud, to do the swap as cleanly as possible you need all the wiring harness, ecm, ficm and any and all wiring electrical stuff from the 06 to swap into the 03 truck
the engine should bolt up to a 03 tranny with no problem, i dont think they switched bolt patterns in 3 yrs, is it an auto to manual or manual to auto swap? there may be different programming between these two but i am not certain.
