this does not sound like the right awnser to me but hey....

 

got my truck back today ...found failed IPR and hpo leak at STC replaced and T fitting leaking replaced icp also cleared codes and retested ok and $1700 lighter in the pocket...hopefully no more problems
Going to fire off a letter to Ford as i work there and let them know about the known problem with this engine ,hopefully they can do something about it???

head ache???? i bought this truck from my son, practically i took it off his hands, meaning he didn't have money to repair it? but i got a hold of a diesel mechanic??? and he charge me 2200$$ to open motor and replace gaskets and many other things, but it still turns off when i am driving it , and it turn back up but if i drive it for a good 20 min it will shut off, i replaced fuel pump oil pump,i really don't know i dont know what to do? please help?
