2009 RAM vs. 2008 Competition... lol

Oh snap! Did you know Chevy builds the longest lasting, most dependable truck in North America?
Lets go back to that "living in a box" theory if you think Ford is the only option out there. As for not being in a Ford, my "loyality" is currently being tested seeing I've had to dump over 3 grand into both my Fords for repairs in the past 3 weeks.
And so did the Tundra, Silverado, Ram, and hell even the Ridgeline at one point.
So what's your point?

Well my box must be pretty big as everyone knows the same facts as i do. The F150 has been the best selling truck in the U.S. for 31 Years Running! Now if that ain't number one in your eyes then perhaps you shouldn't be in a Ford. Also did it or did it not win truck of the year again this year. I'm almost 101% sure it just did.
And I would not rely on the Motor Trend TotY award. That award is a joke.

So what's your point? (My point is it's the best selling truck for a reason)(because it's the best) [/quote]
Seems like you would rather be in a inferior truck but hey thats your choice.

I will assume you mean proof. Have you ever seen a Chevy Silverado commerical? ( box theory kicking in again ) Chevy tells us this, so if the F150 being the best selling 1/2 ton for 32 years is correct, then what Chevy tells us must be grail also.....correct? ( BTW, General Motors has the best selling 1/2 ton NOT the F150 but they have 2 different models. Same company though.)
Interesting how words can be twisted for advertising isn't it.
You mean the second time I've had to have this headgasket changed on my F150 and the numerous broken bolts in both my 5.4's exhaust manifolds. That isn't stuff going wrong, it's a shoddy product. Search around here, I'm sure I'm not the only one getting stung for a problem Ford chose to ignore.
Who are these "people"?
Fords advertising has touched someone evidently.
Hell, how about a company that will stand behind their product.

Not apples to apples comparison and even acceleration which is about the only thing they brag about is beaten by chevy 09 model and all toyota 5.7 models.
Dodge - 2009 Ram 1500 - Capability - Ram vs. Competition
Dodge - 2009 Ram 1500 - Capability - Ram vs. Competition
lol, which company will be closing its doors in 09? they can drag race there debt all the way to the bank

Hmmmm. maybe some people shouldn't surf the Ford vs THE COMPETITION forums.
Sometimes the truth is hard to swallow. Like the over $1,000 bill to replace the ECM on my PSD.

Optional usually means the bigger engine. "standard" would have been the 4.8 and 4.6, "optional" would refer to the 5.3 and 5.4 respectively. Just as the 4.7 V8 would be Dodges standard whereas the Hemi would be optional

Most people on this website actually like thier Fords! I understand you being mad at spending money on your PSD. But why take a thread where people are conversating about a topic and thrash it? I dont care who likes Fords, Chevies, or Dodges. I'm not going to go to one of their sites and talk crap. It turns good threads into S$#T! Thats it!
