Potencheometer removal question
Well at least that's what they were called when I was in shop in the late
80"s.. My Napa manager told me he hadn't heard it called that since school
either. It's the pull out light switch/rheostat. I went to replace mine today and
was able to disconnect it fine but how do you get enough slack in the wiring
harness to pull it down where you can see all the wire connections to unplug
and replug into the new one. So far all I have is a bloody hand...
By the way my truck built in 1/84 turned 25 Today!! Yesterday she hauled
10,000 lbs of ice melt on a trailer. I love my truck!!1

Actually rheostat only refers to the dash light dimmer part of the switch.
