New Tires

New to the forum.
I have a 2001 F250 SD 4x2 CC LB I have a 2" leveling kit installed on the front springs, and I would like to run larger tires. Currently running stock 235/85R16E. Anyone know how large I can go without affecting handling or requiring major mod. 295/305/315?

Tires/Rims

Just bought a used 250. XL - original size was 265/70/17. Someone put very nice premium King Ranch wheels on it. It now has 275/70/18s on it. I would like to go back to stock.

If you are interested, I would be very willing to part with my set of wheels/tires (used Conti's) so that I can revert back to stock. Not sure the rim size, but I can check/verify. Think they are about 9"/9.5" - could go prob min 305's on them w/o a prob.

If you are interested in discussing, feel free to email at myerssw@knology.net.

I have 305/65-18's BFG AT. They rubbed on my mudflaps at full turn, but removed them and they don't rub but are real close.

on my 02 f250, I ran 315's and had to trim the frront valance , the wheels would hit it at full turn.

the truck was lifted 4.5 inches

315/75 on the the stock 16x7's and some leveling springs... no rubbing... but I also tore off the LOWER lower valence (the one that hides the crash bar) on one of my off-roading adventures, lol... I would guess if there was someone it would rub, it'd be there... and maybe the inner fender if I had the diesel...

I had 235's on my truck when I got it brand-new. Went to 265s for the next set of times, it wasn't much of a handling difference.

However, going to 285/75R16s was quite a jump in handling loss. Not too bad, but definitely more sway to it. Might be my choice of tires too...

WOW thanks for all the help, I think.....lol!

Seems like most of you guys are in 4x4's which I believe have a 4" suspension lift vs the 2" on my 4x2. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong on that.
The threads ran the gammit of 315's no problem, to 285's with some handling loss.

Steve, thanks for the offer on the King Ranch rims, not sure they will work for me.

FYI Im a night worker day sleeper, so I'm online in the afternoon
