Anyone using this intake pros cons? Looks like a quality intake for the money.

 

Ive had mine on for a while and like it. The installation was very easy with easy to follow instructions. It cleans up the engine compartment, and looks great with the plexiglass logo'd lid. As far as the performance; It really barks under acceleration, and gives some extra torque. The only down side I would see is the filtered needs to be kept oiled unlike some other brands that run dry filters. I think once mine gets dirty, I am gonna cross over the numbers and put an AMSOIL dry filter in the intxke box. Over all its a great brand, and alot of other guys are running it.

 

Are they alot loader under normal driving or just at wot?

 

I've got the S&B in mine and love it, definite throttle response and extra torque, not too loud driving normal but when you get in the pedal it sounds like a beast under hood. I've had several people look at me like what the hell just passed me when I've went by them

 

Quiet under normal driving conditions. When truck is kicked down and put to the boards it sounds like...like...; Remember how loud the chase cars were in the 80's cop car shows, well its like that. Mine is loud alot more of the time because my truck has been tuned; And my throttle opens up wider and sooner than stock.
