OK OK...I'll admit it. I did have a '92 Dodge W-350 club cab (cab and 1/2) 6x6 5-speed CTD 130k G/N hitch gray with a HUGE ALL 100% ALUMINUM BED. It looked like crap, it bounced so bad that you were spitting out teeth, body was rusting out everywhere you can imagine.
But it took it...that sucker took everything we threw at it, from trailers of wood, 5 bulls in a borrowed G/N, to the best time in the mud, and it still got 20-22 mpg.
But then my older bro sold it for a VW passat that now needs an engine rebuild 1 year later.....POS! (I'd rather keep the dodge)

I wish he'd'a sold it to me! I'd like to have one I could beat on, mine's too nice to abuse too much.
Me too (cant believe I said that. LOL) I kinda wish he'd keep that cause I wanted to work on the body (it had the flinstone floor, no rockers, cab corners and lower fenders were all rusted out), and get a real bed, then that truck would be respectable.
Then I'd sell that bed, that thing had to be at least 1/4" aluminum all the way around.
ok i will say the cummins are great motors,the auto trannys suck,6 speeds are sweet,they are uncomfortable and my personal opinion ugly as hell but what it boils down to is they are tough trucks.i wouldnt mind having a 12 or 24 valve in another ford truck just cause i like the look of a ford.they all have their good points and badpoints.just dont get goin on chevys i hate those things,i have had more than a few general motors vehicles and worked for a gm chrysler dealership the gm service side always had the bays full and vehicles torn down,nowthe mopar side had more time to do important stuff like sweep the floor,buff their tool boxes,play cards,build snapper mower choppers.ya know important stuff......
SO.....what your sayin is that the mopar guys couldnt even FIX 'em so the chevy guys had to do it????
