Steering column swap
I have a ‘99 E-350 with a 7.3 diesel. I also have a conversion ‘92 E-150 that I’m using as a donor for the doors and windows.
I am thinking of swapping the tilt steering with cruse control from the ‘92 into the ‘99 (no tilt no cruse). How much of a job is this? Will it be worth the work or should I just live with no tilt and put aftermarket cruse control in the ‘99 (diesel)?

Might not be the best place to ask this, you might do better in the Econoline forum.
However, the tilt stuff itself is probably not a problem. Unless they changed something under the dash in terms of supports. How similar are the dashboards between the two vehicles?
The cruise-control, that's a different story. It might be easier to add an aftermarket, using the stocker controls from the '92. Mainly because the aftermarket unit will come with instructions (I hope) and it will be setup to hook into a non-cruise wiring harness.
But you have to look for yourself at what's necessary to hookup the stocker too...
