Good to hear. Wouldn't it be great if oil got so cheap that you started to see palaces in the middle east in the grips of foreclosure! Started to fuel up yesterday at $2.21 / gal. Decided to wait until today and lo and behold $2.15 / gal. Also would be nice if diesel got down below the price of gas again. Gas prices are closing in on diesel here. Glad I waited! Sorry to hijack your thread.
In the summer a gallon of rotella 5w/40 cost me $40, in the fall it cost me $23. That was a nice drop, I'm hoping it will be down even more now. There was some good news for Canadians and particularly Albertans yesterday though, China is rumored to be starting to stock pile cheap oil. Some of you Americans will not like it but I love the thought of it.

I think hoarding is what drives up the price of crude.

exactly why it is good for Alberta, oil is our major export and the more it cost the more money people around here make, the more they spend on renos the more work I get, I love expensive oil.
If the housing bubble didn't pop, you guys wouldn't mind it so much I don't think. I'm paying less for fuel now then I was when I bought my truck 4 years ago, and I really don't feel good about it. I'm more worried about not being able to keep my truck and house if work slows down to much. Right now it is not a problem and if oil gets up to at least $60 a barrel all should be well. I'd prefer at least $80 though

No disrespect, but are you by any chance one of those middle eastern towel heads? Alot of those guys are very depressed about their golden palace construction projects on hold right now.
Does anyone know where to buy mobil 5w 40 syn i've been looking everywhere and havent seen it.....
The availability of Mobil Syn has been limited ever since Hurricane Ike hit. Mobil took a pretty hard hit...
You may want to contact your local Mobil distributor (link below) to see if/where they are delivering it near you. You even may want to inquire about buying it directly from them. I know a couple people who are buying their Delvac 1 ESP 5W-40 in gallons by the case directly from the distributor cheaper then what any of the local auto stores were selling it for.
