Stock trans gauge??

Just wonderin how accurate and reliable it is, should i spend the extra money when do boost and pyro, and replace with aftermarket?

I would add a trans if you are purchasing gauges. The stock trans gauge hits it's halfway stationary position at 50 degrees... useless if you ask me. I would do oil or coolant temp also or both if you can.

yea.. the stock trans temp gauge is garbage.. if that thing hits "HOT" its too late.. you've already damaged something.. kinda like a dummy gauge

Thats what i figured. We toasted a tranny on a truck at work, and the gauge never moved.

Yeah Same Here I Had A Secondary Trans Gauge Blow Out Of The Port And Lost Fuild Barely Made It To The Shop And The Stocker Didnt Move A Bit, It No Good Dont Trust It!!!!

Stroked out, The temp sender needs fluid to read temp. If all fluid leaked out the gauge has nothing to read. I'm not saying the gauge is good, just stating a fact.
