mirror upgrade
I have a early 99 F250. It came with no power or heated mirrors. I got a set of 03 power mirrors with heat. I am not very good with electrical. Could anyone give good detailed instructions on hooking up the power and heat. Any help would be greatly appreciated

i think thats a fairly big project..
cuz for teh heated mirror alone u need switched power..plus u need the switchs to control the power mirrors..
and u'll have to run all the wiring..unless u get lucky and ur truck is already plumbed. but i doubt it is...

Mirror upgrade
No, thats my problem, the truck does not have the wiring run for the new mirrors. I have found a couple threads with the wiring colors for the new mirrors but they dont match exactly what I have. My new mirrors have 2 black wires (no black w/white) wich one is heat and wich is ground? the rest of the wires look pretty close to what has been posted on earlier threads. Any other help would be appreciated
