Adding Another IDI
I have an 87' and an 88' F250, and I am thinking about adding an 93' F250 to my fleet. The 93' has very little rust, 4X4, 5 speed, and a stock turbo. The current owner hasn't been using it for a few months and can't get it to start. The price is $1200 and will probably go lower. I want to understand any of the major differences between this truck and my other two. I have collected various spare parts like alternators, starters, radiators, glow plugs, fuel tanks, etc. My 88' is also a 5 speed, and I will probably turn it into a parts truck if I buy the 93'. Will the transmission, transfer case, axles and all the accessory parts be interchangeable between the 88 and 93?

I'd like to have that truck just to swap the motor and turbo into my '86 tool truck. Pull it's 6.9L and build it for my '94.
