Tires

I have a 92' super cab, long bed f-150. I want to lift it 2 inches, my problem is I dont know how big my tires should be. I want it to stand out, and will be used striclty on-road. I'd appreciate it if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks.

If its 4 wheel drive and you lift it 2" you can fit 33's without any problems.

LAST EDITED ON 30-Nov-00 AT 01:41 PM (EST)[p]Exactly right. I have a 1994 F-150 with a Tuff-Country 2.5 inch lift with BFG AT 33x10.50 KO'S, and it sits just a little higher than a F-250 of the same year. I think it looks good, and it rides down the highway very nicely. my 2 cents...
Also- if you do any towing, you should seriously consider re-gearing. Best gear ratio would be 4.10 according to most of the posts I've seen here..
