Well this was my first real test for 4x4 on this truck.
Good old snowy mess out there.
Anyway why does the transfer case have a neutral between 2wheel and 4x4 high???? That doesn't make a bit of sense. Gosh if I remember the old chevys never did that. I get in the neutral I have to turn off the engine and get it in park then play with it. Its really a hassel. Any ideas out there?
this is a provision for using a power take off.
by putting the t-case in neutral, you can use the PTO with the truck stationary.
and all the chevy and dodge trucks i have ever see had neutral in them also
yep every truck i ever seen had netrual also. Usually u have to put truck in netruel on shifter then gracefully pull the transfer case shifter back and to left or right depending on how the pattern shows on the shifter ****. mine is pull bach and to left to go into 4 low
